OUGD406: Design Practice 1 - Communication Is A Virus Critique (25/02/13)

Taking into consideration the feedback which we received in our initial critique for the 'Communications is a Virus' brief we were asked to attend a 'Power Crit' in which we discussed the development we had made from the previous crit and presented the brief which we had written ourselves, outlining our concept, background/considerations and deliverables.

Overall, Amber was happy with the progression we had made on the method of delivery from the '5 Less App' to the online campaign which persuaded Twitter users only tweet five times a day and as a result post more meaningful and inspirational tweets.

However, we were still urged to develop the method of delivery in order to find the most appropriate solution for the campaign.
We therefore decided that instead of distributing flyers by hand we would distribute the information as an e-flyer, we believed distributing the flyer digitally would be more appropriate to our campaign which is about internet use and receiving the information via email meant that our target audience would have the resources to access the Twitter page the flyer diverts them to almost instantly.

Although it was also suggested in the Crit that perhaps promoting awareness for the campaign on Twitter could be contradictory, however although we understand this point we believe that the best way of targeting our target audience would be to use the same form of communication which they abuse.
